Infrared optics
Solaris Optics produces optical elements such as lenses, prisms, windows and others that are used in infrared (IR) wavelengths range – from near infrared (NIR) to middle wavelengths infrared (MWIR), up to 3 μm.
For IR we treat dedicated materials, design and manufacture optical thin film coatings.
Some applications of our IR components include, for example, laser industry or semiconductors.
Among various types of IR components produced by Solaris Optics we can distinguish elements made of:
- Aluminium
- CaF2 (transmission range 170–8000 nm)
- Fused Silica (UV Fused Silica 195–2100 nm)
- MgF2 (150–6500 nm)
- Ge (1.8 to 23 μm)
- Si (1.2 to 15 μm)
