Diffusers

Diffusers are planar optical components, which are one-side polished and have a defined roughness on the other side. The rough, sandblasted, surface performs the light diffuse function.
 
The scattering elements are used to increase homogeneity of illumination in illuminating systems as well as focus or screen plates enabling observation of real images in an optical beam path.
 
Solaris Optics manufactures custom dispersion plates, with fine ground glass plates on one side. Technical parameters:

• Typical materials include B270, N-BK7 or quarz glass.
• Dimensions (diameter or edge length) range from 4 to 200 mm
• Dimensions tolerance: -0,1 – -0,2 mm
• Clear aperture: 90%
• Thickness tolerance: +- 0,1 mm
• Mounting: on request
