relay optics

Relay optics, or a relay lens, is an set of lenses, which transfers a real image from one surface to another in an optical setup, e.g. between onjective and image sensor. The aim to use a relay lens may be to e.g. extend the optical system, invert the image or also to magnify it.

Relay lenses find applications in various imaging systems, such as microscopy, endoscopy, photography, borescopes, peroscopes or inspection systems.

Solaris Optics can manufacture relay lenses according to a given design, but can also support in opto-mechanical design of a relay lens. Relay lenses can be also designed for a given wavelength range and delivered as mounted.

We are looking forward to your questions regarding relay lenses!
